Professional Background

Mr. English oversees PSA’s property and casualty insurance division, including commercial lines, personal lines and professional liability. He is a graduate Roanoke College and has a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

He joined PSA in 1981 as partner, serving as the dedicated leader spearheading the development and growth of the firm’s Property & Casualty Division. Previous to his role at PSA, he worked for INA as a commercial lines underwriter as well as an underwriting manger for a local brokerage and as an agent for Provident Mutual.

Mr. English believes it is imperative that PSA be involved with the management direction of insurance companies the firm represents and has held leadership positions in many national and local insurance companies’ councils throughout his career.

 Mr. English is married with three children and is actively involved in his community, dedicating time to various causes including religious and youth groups.
