As Senior Portfolio Manager, Mr. Derby is responsible for managing mutual fund portfolios and client relationships. He has been active in the financial services industry since 1974 and joined PSA in 1984, spending a major portion of his time as a specialist in mutual fund investing. Mr. Derby is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU); a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS); a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC); and a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC), and is Board Certified in Mutual Funds (BCM).
Mr. Derby holds licenses for Registered Investment Advisory Agent; Registered Securities Representative; Life, Health and Property and Casualty Insurance. He maintains an active role with the Financial Planning Association (Maryland Chapter) (FPA); the Society of Financial Service Professionals (Baltimore Chapter, SFSP); the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Baltimore (NAIFA); the Institute of Certified Fund Specialist (ICFS); the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC), and the Institute of Business and Financial (IBF) where he was recently Board Certified in Mutual Funds (BCM).
