Professional Background

Larry began his career within the financial services industry in 1989 as an Assistant Portfolio Manager with JPMorgan Chase in Wilmington, Delaware.  He was later transferred to New York City where he assumed the position of Client Relationship Manager in the firm’s Private Banking division.

Remaining on Wall Street, Larry joined UBS as a domestic and international equity and fixed income Trader within the company’s Private Banking division.  He then joined The Thomson Corporation serving as Manager of the North American Capital Markets Group in New York City.  Thomson subsequently offered him the position as Director of the European Capital Markets Group in London, England for a nearly two-year assignment.

Returning to the States, Larry joined boutique financial advisory firm Great Scott Financial Services where he managed portfolios, operations and marketing.  Before joining PSA in 2008, he was associated with MetLife in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Baltimore during which time he served in various management, operational, compliance and supervisory capacities.

Larry holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with majors in Finance and Economics from Virginia Tech.  He also maintains his Series 7, 3, 66, 24, 53, 4 and 99 FINRA licenses and State of Maryland Life, Health and Variable Insurance license.

Larry serves on PSA’s Investment Committee which has direct oversight of all managed portfolios.  He is also a Board Member of the Baltimore Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and a Member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council.  Larry was a recipient of Baltimore Magazine’s 2011 and 2012 Five Star Wealth Manager Award.
