PSA Insurance & Financial Services Employees Dunk Their Management to Raise Money for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland

Hunt Valley, MD – September 21, 2012 – PSA Insurance & Financial Services’ employee picnic today was a little different this year as staff members had the opportunity to dunk their managers in a dunking booth to help raise money for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland.  Looking for a creative and fun way to support a local charity at the annual company picnic, PSA decided to rent a dunking booth.  Employees purchased tickets for the dunking booth either before or during the picnic and PSA matched the amount raised by its staff.  Leadership including, Chip Lewis, managing director, Craig English, senior vice president, Ed Kushlis, senior vice president, Ray Sweet, CFO, and Frank Giachini, COO, participated by being dunked to help support the more than 1,300 homebound and elderly persons that Meals on Wheels feeds each day in the greater Baltimore area.

PSA exceeded its goal of $1,000 and raised a total of $1,611, which will feed 230 homebound seniors for one day.  Debbie Brown, director of marketing and communications for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland stated “PSA is truly nourishing the mind, body and souls of homebound seniors in Central Maryland.”
