For many years, Jodi Hume kept a long list of things she wanted to do but couldn’t find the time, until one day she gave up the excuses, reprioritized and started to accomplish those goals on her list. While still COO of a thriving architectural firm and the mother of two small children, she became the lead singer in a blues band and enrolled in a program to study group facilitation at Johns Hopkins University. Cracking the code on how to have the life she wanted – personally and professionally – became her passion.

Does Jodi’s “someday” list sound familiar? Jodi found that as she started to check off items, one at a time, her life began to transform into the one she had always dreamed – both personally and professionally.  This led Jodi, our next PSA Partnership speaker, to leave the corporate world and begin her journey as a life and business strategist, and founder of The Business of Life.

Beginning, May 30th, Jodi will be featured on four consecutive episodes of RL TV’s “Second Act” as a business and life strategy coach for people who are starting businesses or building new careers in their 50’s. Paul DiMeo, the popular carpenter and designer best known from nine seasons on two-time Emmy Award-winning “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,”  is the host who assembles a team of experts, including Jodi, to provide encouragement and help guide the participants on the road to achieve their dreams. Check your local Verizon or Comcast listings for RL TV to watch Jodi in action on “Second Act.”

You also have the opportunity to hear from Jodi in person and to gain a fresh approach for navigating time and priorities from her coaching skills at our next PSA Partnership event on June 25th. She will provide today’s leaders who are faced with an ever-growing amount of choices, opportunities and obligations, with a new strategy for navigating the competing priorities of business and life. If you feel stressed and guilty about home when you’re at work, but when you’re at home, can’t stop thinking about work, Jodi’s seminar will reveal powerful tactics for uncovering hours of time each week, including:

  • Emerging neuroscience, and it’s unexpected revelations about productivity
  • Time leadership…what it is and why it’s crucial for your organization
  • Strategies for keeping life and business from competing
  • What to do when you, or your organization, feel overwhelmed.

With her vast experience working with business leaders and executives, Jodi has developed tangible steps to help you get to a place where you’re fulfilled and excited about  your relationships, have the time and energy to pursue your “want to do” items and reorganized your life according to your values and goals, no one else’s.

It’s never too late to reclaim your life and live the one you always dreamed!
