PSA is proud to sponsor and participate as a panelist at the first signature event of the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI) cohosted by the Maryland Department of Commerce, Chesapeake Regional Tech Council, and Greater Baltimore Committee. The morning event, Cyber Risk Management 360 – Identifying, Quantifying, Insuring & Mitigating Cyber Risk, is scheduled for April 7, 2016 at the Columbus Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The program is designed to offer C-level executives of non-tech companies valuable cybersecurity strategy information, which will be presented by a panel of experts from various industries. Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to connect with local cybersecurity service providers and visit their exhibits.

Cybercrime is imminent and threatens any business, regardless of size or industry. An attack can have severe impact on the entire organization including the C-level executives. Thus, understanding cyber risk and being prepared by having a sound cybersecurity strategy in place is critical. With over 40 years of experience Valerie Corekin, VP and Senior Risk Advisor at PSA, intimately understands this and has been advising companies across industries to mitigate their cyber risk. Valerie joins other industry experts on the panel from Whiteford Taylor & Preston LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, and NFP Property & Casualty. She will discuss the importance of cyber asset valuation and selecting adequate insurance protection for the viability of any business.
