David Reeve Representing Clients and the Community as an Insurance Broker and Fellow Man

As an organization focused on giving back, PSA encourages employees to nominate a non-profit organization of their choice to be considered as the recipient of PSA employee charitable fund donations. A different employee-nominated nonprofit is awarded these funds on a quarterly basis.
This 2020 fourth quarter recipient of the funds is the Men and Families Center in Baltimore, nominated by David Reeve, PSA’s Vice President of Personal Insurance.
The Center strives to improve the quality of relationships between fathers and their children to preserve families. By increasing accessibility of services and resources and raising awareness, the organization addresses both the daily basic needs and the larger social issues of poverty, as well as injustice of men and their families living in East Baltimore and beyond.
While David Reeve is not directly involved in serving with this organization, one of his clients, who has been with PSA for over ten years and knew that David grew up in Baltimore, recently reached out to share about the Center and its mission.
Because of his relationship with the client and his passion for the local community, David researched the organization and shared this video about their work. “The Men and Families Center works in the most challenged area of Baltimore. It’s a very trying time right now for many people who are just trying to stay alive in Baltimore City,” David Reeve shared.
He is always ready to lend a helping hand and serve the greater Baltimore community. Pre-COVID, he was an active and vital member of PSA’s Meals on Wheels lunch bunch, and he participates in many other service opportunities such as food drives and charitable events.

David shared, ‘When I called my contact at the Men and Families Center to tell him that I had nominated their organization and they won the funds, he was so grateful and could not believe it. I love being able to serve our clients and our community well, not just as their insurance broker, but as a fellow man.’
”
