Chris Caldwell Supports Friends and Coworkers in the Fight Against Blood Cancer

PSA is committed to giving back to the community, and employees are encouraged to nominate a non-profit organization of their choice to be considered as the recipient of PSA employee charitable fund donations. On a quarterly basis, a different employee-nominated non-profit is selected to receive the funds.

The 2021 third quarter recipient of the funds is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), nominated by Chris Caldwell, PSA’s Director of Sales Enablement.

Founded in 1949, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) works to fund research to eliminate blood cancer and provide lifesaving treatment to patients fighting the condition. LLS is the largest non-profit organization in the world dedicated to fighting blood cancers through research, advocacy, and patient support.

Every year, LLS hosts a Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign, in which nominees compete for the title and raise funds for the cause. Chris was nominated by a fellow PSA employee whose family was impacted by Leukemia, thus beginning his involvement with the organization. Shortly after his nomination, Chris’ connection to LLS became very personal as he learned that a close family friend was diagnosed with stage 3 Lymphoma. Fortunately, that friend has completed treatment and is currently in remission. By seeing his friend go through this experience, it gave Chris an immense appreciation for LLS and everything that they stand for. When the opportunity to nominate a non-profit to receive the quarterly PSA charitable funds came about, LLS was his obvious choice.
