PSA Insurance and Financial Services Welcomes New Hires and Opens a San Francisco Office as the Organization Continues to Grow

Hunt Valley, MD – January 28, 2013 – PSA Insurance and Financial Services, a leading provider of insurance, employee benefits, retirement plans and wealth management services, has welcomed several new team members and opened an office in San Francisco, CA, giving PSA a West Coast presence for the first time in its history.

PSA New Hires for Fourth Quarter 2012 include:

D. Michael (Mike) Enfield joined the Risk Solutions Group at PSA in October 2012, with more than 40 years of insurance experience. Prior to his work at California-based Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC), Enfield worked more than 22 years at Marsh & McLennan, holding various roles including Managing Director of the San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, and Salt Lake offices.  He has handled global insurance programs for Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank and has advised AMTRAK and the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority on risk management issues and insurance placements.  He has also provided expert advice or testimony before various state and federal courts and House of Representatives and has been a special advisor to the California Insurance Commissioner. Enfield will manage the new San Francisco, CA office.

Kaci Byers joined PSA during the beginning of the fourth quarter 2012 as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant. With more than 18 years of experience in managed health care and business analysis, she is responsible for health and welfare benefit plan consulting, including claims analyses and benefit plan design. She is also responsible for the marketing and implementation of benefit plans and systems. Prior to joining PSA, Kaci was a Senior Benefits Consultant for The Warner Companies. She has also held various financial analyst roles with Johns Hopkins Healthcare, Coventry Healthcare/HealthAmerica and Carlisle Syntec Incorporated.

Craig Morsberger joined the Commercial Insurance team as the Professional Liability Supervisor in November 2012. Craig specializes in medical malpractice and professional liability and comes from Medical Mutual where he was a Senior Underwriter and then manager of their Virginia office.

Nikki Shelley also joined PSA in November 2012. She is an Account Executive for the Personal Insurance division. Prior to joining PSA, Nikki most recently worked in medical sales. She also has more than ten years of experience as a licensed Realtor at Prudential Homesale YWGC Realty. Nikki has an active real estate license in Maryland and is a part of REMDA (Real Estate Million Dollar Association).

David VanLeeuwen joined PSA in December 2012 as an Employee Benefits Advisor specializing in group health and welfare employee benefits for middle and large market employers. David has 24 years of combined experience in group benefits serving employers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including nine years working for health insurance carriers and 15 years owning an employee benefits firm. He is an active member of the Association of Health Underwriters as well as the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
